Getting started

Do I need an account?

No. Lulladay works on your phone without an account, and your diary stays on that phone. You need an account only to share the diary with your family, which is part of Premium.

Can I track twins or more than one baby?

Yes. Add a baby in Settings → Babies → Add baby. A family can have up to 5 active babies; archive a baby to make room for another.

How do I change the language or units?

Lulladay follows your phone's language, in any of its 23 languages. To choose another, open Settings → Preferences → Language. Units for bottles, weight and length are in Settings → Preferences too; °C or °F is chosen when you add a temperature.

What do “Usual next nap” and the other estimates mean?

They come from your baby's own logged times, so they get better as you log more sleeps and feeds. They are estimates, not advice and not a schedule. Feed whenever your baby shows hunger cues.

Family sharing

How do I share the diary with my partner or a grandparent?
  1. Open Settings → Family → Share with family and choose Create family account. Family sharing is part of Premium.
  2. Open Settings → Family → Family members and tap Create invitation.
  3. Send the invitation to the person you want to add. They install Lulladay, sign in and enter the code.

A family can have up to 4 people, including you. Each invitation works once and expires after 48 hours.

How do I join a family?

Install Lulladay, choose I have an account or an invitation code, and sign in or create an account. Then choose Join with invitation and enter the code you got. If you got a link, open it on your phone and the code is filled in for you. If the code has expired, ask for a new one.

I already have a diary on my phone. Can I bring it into the family?

Yes. When you join someone else's family, Lulladay offers to bring your diary's entries into it.

Does everyone in the family need to pay?

No. One subscription covers the whole family. Anyone in the family can pay for it.

What happens when someone leaves or is removed?

They lose access to the family's shared records. Entries they added stay with the family. Their phone keeps a copy of the records up to then, unless the owner chooses Remove and delete their copy.

Premium and the free trial

What does Premium include?
  • Sync with up to 4 people, including you, and a copy in the cloud
  • 30-day, 90-day and custom reports, with charts
  • Every day on the Timeline chart
  • Naps and bedtime for the rest of the day
  • Growth charts with WHO percentiles in the PDF
  • The assistant: 30 spoken or typed entries and 10 questions a day for the whole family
Is there a free trial?

New subscribers can start with a 7-day free trial; Google Play or the App Store shows whether your account can use it. Each family can have one free trial.

How do I get Premium back on a new phone?

Sign in to the same Google or Apple account that bought it, then open Settings → Family → Lulladay Premium and tap Restore purchases. If you have a family account, sign in to Lulladay as well.

Where do I manage my subscription?

Subscriptions, payment methods and receipts are managed by the store: in Google Play, under Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions; on an iPhone, in Settings → your name → Subscriptions. You can also open it from Settings → Family → Lulladay Premium → Manage subscription. Google and Apple handle payments and refunds.

What happens when Premium ends?

Every phone keeps its records and continues as a Free diary. The family's cloud copy is kept for 30 days, so you can renew and carry on where you left off. After that, it is deleted.

Records, backups and new phones

How do I move my diary to a new phone?

With a family account, sign in on the new phone and the family's records download.

Without an account, use a backup file:

  1. On the old phone, open Settings → Backup → Save backup file and save it to Google Drive, iCloud Drive or email.
  2. On the new phone, install Lulladay and choose Restore from a backup file on the welcome screen.

Backup files aren't encrypted, so keep them private.

Can I export my records?

Yes. In Reports → Export, Export CSV saves all of a baby's records, and Share PDF makes a report, for example for a doctor's visit. Free PDFs cover today or the last 7 days; Premium adds longer ranges and growth charts.

I deleted an entry by mistake

Tap Undo right after deleting. After that, the entry can't be brought back, but you can add it again.

Reminders and notifications

My reminders don't ring, or ring late
  • Allow notifications for Lulladay in your phone's settings.
  • On Android, also allow Lulladay to set Alarms & reminders; without it, reminders may come up to an hour late. If your phone saves battery aggressively, let Lulladay run without battery limits.
  • On an iPhone, check that a Focus mode isn't silencing Lulladay.
  • On Android, after travel or a daylight-saving change, open the app once when the phone's and the family's time zones differ.

Don't rely on reminders for medicine doses or anything urgent: phones can delay or silence notifications.

The AI assistant

What can the assistant do?

Say or type fills in an entry from a sentence such as “bottle 120 ml at 3”; you check it and tap Save. Ask answers questions about baby care and your baby's records. Answers are general information, not medical advice.

The assistant comes with Premium and the free trial, within daily allowances shown in the app.

Where do my questions go?

To answer, Lulladay sends your sentence or question, your babies' names and, for questions, a short summary of the baby's records to OpenAI in the United States. It happens only after you agree. OpenAI doesn't train its models on it and deletes it within 30 days. Read more in the Privacy policy.

To turn the assistant off, open Settings → Privacy → AI assistant.

Speaking doesn't work

Allow Lulladay to use the microphone (and speech recognition, on an iPhone) in your phone's settings, and check that dictation or voice typing is turned on. Some phones can't recognize speech in every language. You can always type instead.

Privacy and your account

Who can see my records?

A Free diary stays on your phone; we never receive it. With family sharing, your family's records are stored in the European Union and shared only with the people you invite. There are no ads and no tracking. Read the Privacy policy.

I forgot my password

On the sign-in screen, tap Forgot password and enter your email address. Open the link in the email soon after it arrives: it works only for a short time. If it has expired, ask for a new one.

Can I lock the app?

Yes. Turn on Settings → Privacy → App lock to open Lulladay with your phone's fingerprint, face or screen lock.

How do I delete my account?

In the app, open Settings → Account → Delete account. You can also ask us by email. See Delete your account for what is deleted and what is kept.
